Testimonials

" what a wildlife fest! And the best kayak guiding I've ever had too. You guys are thorough! I learned so much and have come away with not just a great holiday but lots of confidence and improved kayak skills. Really impressed that you guys cross the T's and dot the i's when it comes to all elements of kayaking. The fact that so much effort was put into not just the guiding routes but also into individual improvement helped me to enjoy the trip even more. Can't wait to do another trip " Helen Jackson May 2015

"thank you for an amazing trip and all your local knowledge of all the nooks and crannies of this wonderful island. Your organisation was well thought out and the travelling, camping, cooking and kayaking was seamless. Thanks for the drams too. So impressed that you worked with and guided us on the sea all day Mike, and cooked for us and had good craic in the evenings too. Top marks" David Wilson May 2015

Trip Description

Two days of sea kayaking along the coastlines of this magical island.

This trip is aimed at allowing an introduction to sea kayaking on Skye for those wanting to use their weekends in the best possible way.

Recently voted the 4th best island by National Geographic, take this opportunity to explore the natural beauty and grandure of Skye by sea kayak.

To get the best out of the paddling weekend we  base ourselves at Dunvegan campsite on the Saturday night allowing easy access to locations such as the beautiful Loch Dunvegan and awe inspiring North Skye.

From Dunvegan we can reach any location on the island on Sunday morning for a full day of exploration.

With flights into Inverness and rail/bus connections all the way to Kyle of Lochalsh you can access the island quickly from anywhere in the UK. Arrive on a Friday and travel back on the Monday with the satisfaction of having paddled away your stress alongside coral beaches, sea caves, seals and sea eagles.

This trip is aimed at people who've done a little paddling previously though we can also set it at beginner level too. All kayaks, equipment and specialist clothing is provided so all you have to do is travel lightweight and make it north to see us.

We take a roving approach to the schedule using our vehicle and kayak trailer so as to paddle in the best locations according to where the weather is best.

A flexible approach to locations really does make the most of the weekend and to achieve this we will be based at one of the many facilitated campsites around the island.

We can supply tents and sleeping gear so you can travel light allowing you to get here with the minimum of baggage.
