Testimonials

" I cannot rate this trip highly enough. The effort that everyone went to so as to ensure an enjoyable, informative and challenging week was second to none. When you visit a foreign land it really makes a difference to the quality of your trip when you're guided by locals, looked after by locals and ultimately welcomed into their small community. Oh, and the mountains are indescribably good!" Susan Ross July 2012

Scotland's Munros, Summer hillwalking

"Had a great time on the hillwalking trip - seeing as I was a novice I achieved a lot more than I thought I could. Really enjoyed myself. Will be back again. The accommodation was lovely - Rhona and Gerry made us so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks Lynsey for the loan of the sticks, I wouldn't have managed without them" Margaret Franklin June 2014

Trip Description

What better way to explore the true beauty and nature of the Highlands.

With enough time to discover the high regions and summits of the North West Highlands you'll feel like you've been away for longer than just five days.

Escape from the stresses of the rat race and experience the captivating mix of ancient mountains dissected by deep sea lochs, the elusive Golden Eagles, mountain days full of discovery and fantastic Highland hospitality.

Over the course of five days we'll have access to the mountains of Torridon, Kintail, and Fisherfield which are undoubtedly amongst the most diverse and scenic peaks in Scotland.

On good visibility days the views out towards the islands are in complete contrast to the mountainous west coast and make for a wonderful situation in which to explore these ancient summits.

Every day plans will be formed to suit the group, weather and opportunities. Plans might also depend on which Munro summits you wish to pursue.

You should be fit and able to tackle five consecutive days on the hill.

Adventure, lots of local knowledge and a warm welcome awaits.
