"There are not enough words to describe the elation on completing the trip. Your knowledge and care and input was the sole reason I managed this. It was bigger, longer and more exhilarating than I could have imagined. You kept me going and were consistent in your support and care from the first hour right through until the end of the day! Many thanks Mike. I'll be back for some winter adventures" Cameron Mc Grath
Cuillin Ridge mountaineering June 2014
"Mike very kindly ran this trip despite being let down at the last minute by the other 3 people who had booked, and was an excellent guide. He was great at fitting the activity to the weather conditions, we managed the Inaccessible Pinnacle in fine style despite the rain. Some good conversation to boot! I'd recommend this company to everyone" Beryl P. Aug 2014
Cuillin mountaineering
This is the more demanding of our two Cuillin experiences and requires a high degree of mountain fitness and good movement on exposed ridges.
The Black Cuillin ridge is spectacular and unlike anything on the Scottish mainland. More jagged, more rocky and more demanding of movement skill alongside rope safety.
There'll be a lot of learning along the way as one of our instructors will impart lots of knowledge aimed at your safety and enjoyment of each route.
And for those of you who are collecting the Scottish Munro summits, guiding is often the best option. The Black Cuillin demand more than the skills required for basic hillwalking. With guidance and safety management every step of the way this trip is an exhilarating alpine experience on one of Scotland's most iconic islands.
So if the Munro summits of Skye have been on your bucket list for a while drop us an email and we can take the first step towards helping you to achieve the most fulfilling mountain trip you'll ever do in the British Isles.
The fully inclusive package or the self cater option as shown are both based in Lochcarron on the nearby mainland. We travel to the Cuillin, over the bridge , each day and can pick you up anywhere en route via Kyle of Lochalsh, Kyleakin or Broadford.
If you opt for the trip only choice:
then you can stay independently in Lochcarron where we'll pick you up each day. Lots of B&B and hotel accommodation available or check out the The Wee Campsite, Lochcarron
If you want to stay on Skye accommodation options are plentiful and we recommend using either the Sligachean Hotel or the Old Inn Carbost.
There are also bunkhouses at both locations. Several B&Bs are also based in the vicinity of the Cuillin Ridge.
If you want to camp and be picked up each day
