The upper reaches of Loch Hourn
Loch Hourn from Ladhair Bhein
As a step up from the Inner Sound expedition this four day trip is based in Applecross for the first day to recap and refresh paddle skills. After which, we’ll be ready to explore Loch Hourn on day two.
Days two to four will be spent on expedition where you can experience real expedition days travelling longer distances to explore the vast wilderness of Loch Hourn. Experience wild camping on the shingle and sandy shores and beaches of Loch Hourn and enjoy homemade, fresh food over campfires and our own secret cake receipes whilst sat beneath the breathtaking mountains of the Knoydart wilderness.
Famed for its wildness and beauty, Knoydart and its Northern shores offer scenic sea paddling like no other. This trip requires previous paddling experience and 2 star paddle skills (no certificate required). This trip presents a chance to become more of an independent paddler and to build confidence on longer kayak trips and expeditions.
