Petrol & Diesel are available just along the road from the Inn at the bottom of the Bealach. The petrol pumps are not manned but are available 24 hours a day using a debit or credit card. This service is provided by the not for profit Applecross Community Company which is run by volunteers.
There is a local doctor’s surgery hours in the village. The surgery is open part time Monday to Friday. For details please ring 01520 744252.
The Applecross Community Hall is situated about 1 mile to the South of the Inn. It hosts a range of regular and occasional local get togethers and events including a seniors lunch club once a week, badminton, yoga, zumba, fundraising coffee mornings, school activities and ceilidhs.
There are public toilets located in the main public car park situated behind the petrol pumps. These are provided by the ‘not for profit’ Applecross Community Company. As a voluntary run organisation donations to help support this service are appreciated and help to ensure it's continuance.
A & J Brown, General Store & Post Office Camusteil
Seonag and Ali Brown run our local village shop. It is situated about 2 miles South of the Inn. The shop stocks general merchandise as well as hardware, a range of cards and gifts, toys and an off licence. It also houses the post office.
Sue Groucock welcomes you to the Coalshed. It is situated at the bottom of the Bealach road just along to the North of the Inn. Locally made and inspired gifts.
A stunning exhibition of images from Applecross and Scotland's Northwest Coast from our local photographer, Jack Mariss. Enjoy a free coffee whilst browsing the gallery. A small collection of the photographs are on display and for sale at the Inn. The Gallery is 1.5 miles south of the Applecross Inn on the road towards Toscaig (just beside the big telephone pylon!). All photographs are for sale. Jack's details are on the Community Notice Board in the bar area.
A small range of local and local interest gifts and books are available.
Croft Wools, Cuaig
Tom and Leslie Kilbride produce and sell wonderful hand spun (and dyed) woolen and felted crafts and clothing from their studio/shop just to North of the hamlet of Cuaig on the coast road. This is approximately 10 miles from the Inn.

Jon and Elaine Glover welcome you and have a range of gifts available. These are largely selected for their Fairtrade, Charity and eco-friendly ethos which supports their adjoining Walled Garden restaurant vision.
