Christmas Day: we are open for bar service only from 12.30pm till 2.30pm (NO MEALS).
New Years Day & 2nd of January : CLOSED ALL DAY.
The Inn offers seven well appointed en-suite bedrooms which all have beautiful sea views. There are a range of doubles and twins available and one large family room. There is one downstairs room which is accessible for guests who may require some extra assistance.
We encourage you to consider staying more than one night. This gives you the chance to enjoy our peninsula properly whilst supporting our eco-friendly ethos.
We do not take room bookings for the 2 week Christmas and New Year period, the dates will depend on the year.
Meals and snacks are served from 12pm to 9pm in the bar area or alfresco if the weather is favourable. Our menus are wide ranging offering snacks, starters, main meals and daily specials during food service. In keeping with our Green ethos we aim to use locally sourced produce where possible. Our speciality is beautiful local seafood including prawns (langoustines), crab, lobster, oysters, smoked salmon and speciality white fish. Also on offer are a delicious range of salads and local meats. In addition we offer a children’s and a vegetarian menu.
Please note we are not open for breakfast for non residents from the beginning of March till the end of October.
We are aware that some of our customers may have certain dietary restrictions so do our upmost to work with these. If you do suffer from a food allergy it is worth ringing ahead to make us aware so we can do our best for you.
Please be advised that the Inn can get very busy during the peak season. Non-resident customers are seated in turn, on arrival. Residents are automatically reserved a table. If you are flexible with your dining times it may be better to avoid peak lunch and dinner times.
If you are looking to make a group booking (6 or more) for dining please phone ahead. Bookings for these larger groups must be for 6pm or 8pm on Friday and Saturday evenings, during the peak season.
The bar is open:
- Monday to Thursday: 11am to midnight
- Friday: 11am to 1am
- Saturday: 11am to midnight

There are 10 'drinks' (including Guiness, ciders, lagers and ales) on tap, including local real ales! There is an extensive wine and spirit list including a wide variety of Scottish malt whiskys, gins and vodkas! Also available are a good range of non-alcoholic drinks.
The Inn offers occasional live entertainment throughout the year. This is limited due to the size of the public bar/dining area. In addition the Inn is a supporter of community events including the annual Highland Games (normally the 4th Saturday in July), the annual Raft Race (early August) and other more impromptu events!
Children (under 16)
Children are welcome in the bar area or outside the Inn until 9pm when accompanied by a responsible adult.
