The Applecross Games is on Saturday the 25th of July 2009 and is held on Applecross Campsite. The Games is a great weekend, however if you are coming for a quiet weekend we would advise that you bare this in mind or change the dates that you would like to visit to either side of the event.

Applecross Campsite is situated above the village of Applecross in Ross-Shire in the Highlands of Scotland.  The campsite occupies over six acres of level, well-drained camping fields, offering fantastic views of the Inner Sound looking towards the islands of Raasay, Rhona and the Black Cuillins of Skye. With no mobile phone reception the emphasis here is on tranquility and relaxation!

Our spacious campsite in the Highlands of Scotland has room for sixty tents, motor homes and touring caravans. The camping site has facilities such as a Café Bar, payphone, A.T.M, laundry and electric hook-up points. There are two newly fully functional, renovated shower blocks and a laundry room with coin operated washing machine and tumble drier.

The campsite itself is open all year round, although the campsites cafe bar is only open in the height of the season. You can phone on 01520 744 268 if you would like to check the café opening hours.

With no mobile phone reception the emphasis here is on tranquility and
relaxation! Dogs are allowed on the site but we would ask that you walk them
off the site and keep them on a lead at all times on the site. No campfires are allowed on the campsite.

The reason for creating Applecross Campsites on-line booking system was to cut down on frustration for the customer as there can be periods of time when there is not someone in the office to deal with bookings.

The on-line booking system gives the customer the flexibility to check availability or book out of office hours. We are happy to take bookings through the office however as the booking system does not send us reminders for payment, (as it would e-mail the customer) we would ask to take payment in full at the time of booking.
